Product specification
All padding here at Postprotectors.co.uk is made to the highest specifications:
- High quality and impact absorbing foam is 50mm thick.
- RX 28 – 150 foam is flame retardant, CFC free and tested to Crib 5 standards.
- The durable, waterproof, wipe clean covers are available in 16 colours.
- Covers are made from rip-stop 610gsm PVC.
- Flame retardant PVC is fire tested to BS5867 – 2 standards.
- Round, square or rectangular.
- Any size, any height.
- The pads are attached via heavy duty industrial Velcro down the back.
- Manufactured here in the UK.
- Supported by a full, reasonably priced printing service should you wish to brand your safety pads.
Shapes and design
Here at postprotectors.co.uk we have over ten years’ experience as safety padding specialists. As a result, we offer a wide range of standard shaped pads to suit most applications. Our most popular standard pads are as follows:
Round pads – cylindrical padding is ideal for round posts and pillars – not to be used on square posts where built up corner protection is required
Square pads – for square posts or beams and a slightly cheaper solution for round posts ifyou prefer
Rectangular pads – for rectangular posts and rails or for unusual combinations of shapes i.e. a canopy post with a rainwater down pipe
Three-sided pads – used for a wide variety of applications. Perfect solution for covering hazards where you cannot get all the way around a post, pillar or other obstruction due to a wall or fence being in the way. Can be firmly fixed in a variety of ways.
Two-sided pads – ideal for corners of walls or ledges. Normally face fixed with self-adhesive Velcro, with eyelets or velcro straps
