Tax Charges
VAT is not included in the price and will be charged at the standard rate.
Credit Card Security
When the order is placed, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted when they reach our payment processor. They are not held in clear text on any web site, and we do not store the card details.
Shipping and Handling
Most orders are subject to a standard delivery charge of £20 +VAT for up to 4 pads within the UK mainland. Charges can be higher for 4 or more pads. Please contact the sales office to confirm delivery charges to the Scottish Highlands and offshore UK destinations.
Delivery Schedule
Our Lead times are approximately four weeks from order but can be longer at certain points in the year. Please contact our sales office directly for a current delivery time frame or for details on how your order is progressing. We will always endeavour to meet delivery dates but cannot guarantee arrival of the goods on time. No claims for compensation for late delivery can be accepted.
Guarantee
We guarantee your satisfaction. We have inspected the premises of all our suppliers and are confident that the systems they have in place will result in you receiving the best quality products. We back up our claim by offering a One year guarantee (full details are available on request).
Returns Policy
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulation 2013 any unused product purchased through a website site can be returned within 14 days from the date of receipt for a 100% refund, if in its original condition and in the original packaging. The only exception to this is when goods have been custom-made to order. Due to the nature of our products, all of our post protectors and padded goods are made to order to specified sizes provided by the customer, therefore no refunds can be given unless the item is received faulty or damaged upon delivery.
Any claims for damages or missing items must be notified to us within 24 hours of receipt of goods. Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm
Refunds will be processed within 3-5 working days.
Cancellations
Due to the bespoke nature of the product any cancellations should be notified to us as soon as possible, and no later than 24 hours from order being placed. A cancellation charge of 5% of the total sum will be charged and the remainder of the invoice amount refunded. Refunds will be processed within 3-5 working days.
Privacy Policy
The Internet Shop Ltd does not disclose buyers’ information to third parties other than when necessary in the course of fulfilling the order. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other party. Cookies are used on the shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the ‘Remember Me’ Option. They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process. You can turn off cookies within your browser by going to ‘Tools | Internet Options | Privacy’ and selecting to block cookies. If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use cookies. Data collected by this site is used to:
- Take and fulfill customer orders
- Administer and enhance the site and service
- Passed to third parties only for the purpose of fulfilling the customer’s order
